November Details

Do you ever have a vision for a layout and somehow in the end it all actually comes together?  As soon as I saw the Ali Edwards November Digital Kit I knew which elements and cards I wanted to use.  My favorite was that “thankful for this” script and the leaves!

I also love it when you can look at the kit side by side with your layout…multiple layouts for that matter…and see JUST how personalized you can make it!  All these layouts are so different and each one is amazing!  Here are a few examples from other creative team members using this same kit:  @smultringunn , @jenny_theriault , @laura_wonsik, and  @craftyjenschow.

I felt like there was SO much going on during the month of November!  This was a great way to capture everything at a glance.  I left the heart journaling card as-is because the yellow tones pulled from the orange in the pumpkin photo on the left.  Usually I’d alter the colors, but I felt like the neutral tones + green leaf + yellow heart melded well.

I created the leaf card by clipping the digital stamp “thankful for this” and pulling a single leaf off the leaf-patterned journaling card.  The grey journaling card next to it with the script “the best part of the month” originated as a 4×6.  I was able to resize it, drag it to a 3×4 blank card in Photoshop, then fill in the top and bottom with matching grey.

Check out the November Digital kit and see how many layouts you can make!  Thanks for stopping by to check this out!  Oh and p.s.  are you wondering what’s going on with my dog in the picture above?  Well I made a bridal veil for a friend and needed a model!  He didn’t know what to make of the situation, clearly 🙂
