I used the Ali Edwards October digital kit for documenting some recent photos of a hike nearby our house. Because we live in California, we don’t really have distinct seasons. It always seems to be either super hot and dry or cool and rainy. There are the occasional trees which will lose their leaves and turn colors, but nothing like other parts of the country experience!
The photos may not appear to be what most are used to seeing in the defined month of October, but this is what I see! I edited the colors of the two cards below in Photoshop to better match my photos.
I also LOVED the journaling card below, but it was a 4×6 so…what to do?! I first cropped it down in Photoshop to center the script. Next I changed the image size so the width was 3″. Then, I created a “new” item that was 3×4 and drug the cropped card over to it. The bottom was bare white so there was no color matching.
Thanks for reading through my post! Be sure to head over to Ali’s site to check out her October kit. It’s great for not only the autumn / falling leaves aspect of October, but there’s also some great Halloween cards too!
