Hey guys! I took a quick break from scrapping my honeymoon / European vacation and printed out a recent road trip. It was actually my last day off on sabbatical (6 weeks sure flies by fast!) and I decided to squeeze in one final adventure. A friend and I hopped in the car and drop about 3.5 hours each way to McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park. We had both been talking about making this trip for over a year now and decided this was the day!
I used the Kelly Purkey Shop August Kit: Life Lessons and the Summer Vacation Kit (Traveler’s Notebook kit), along with her new stamp “Captured“. Below I played with the stamps and stickers from the Traveler’s Notebook kit on the “August” journaling card from the Life Lessons kit. Stamping does not have to be straight and lined up. Take a look at the lines of designs already created and follow them.
For the patterned paper strips below I sliced off thin segments from the Traveler’s Notebook kit papers. I create way more pocket pages than traveler’s notebook layouts, but the products are easily transferable. Those cute camera and selfie stamps are from the Captured set.
Lastly I pulled a simple navy stripe card from an old kit, added a label from the August kit, sticker from the Traveler’s Notebook kit, and stamps from the Captured stamp set.
What I love is how all the kits this month from Kelly can work together and coordinate! And anytime there’s blues and greens, my heart soars! Hope you guys have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!
