Hello Everyone! I hope you are ready to follow along for the Hero Arts Blog Hop today and see all the amazing creations designers have put together for you! I’m so excited to be a participant this year! How does it work? Hero Arts will be giving away three $25 shopping sprees, drawn from comments left across all blogs in the hop. For a chance to win, please leave a comment below by Wednesday, October 19 at 11:59pm PT, hop along to each designer’s blog, and Hero Arts will announce the winner the following week.
I chose to showcase the new planner stamps in a different light by creating a Project Life spread exclusively made with planner stamps! Ok there may be *one* extra stamp in there, but it’s a date stamp and can be used in planners too 😉
I used Kelly’s Sports Planner stamp set for the baseball and “WIN” below. Sometimes on a PL spread all you need is a little detail to add a personal touch to a journaling card. With the planner stamps having both tiny little icons and words, it really makes for the perfect choice! I also like to use stamps for other themes than they were intended–for example the boxed “Major” word. This one is from Kelly’s College Life Planner stamp set. Ok, so maybe 3-0 wasn’t a Major win, but it works!
My favorite set of planner stamps are Kelly’s washi tapes. I love the different patterns and that you can stamp them in any color to match your layout or planner spread. I also like to double up on them as shown below. I think my soon to be most used stamp is the calendar stamp (D5791). Such a cool graphical way to display the date of your memories! The curved arrow next to it is from Kelly’s Goal Planner set.
Other stamps used (shown in full spread) were the arrowed box around the word “Baseball” from the Flags Stamp and Cut and the “Kicking Butt & Taking Names” from Kelly’s Goal Planner Set. I love the Flags stamps for their versatility. Great on a Project Life spread or highlighting something in your planner!
Thank you all for stopping by to take a peek! Make sure you continue to hop along for a chance to win in the giveaway, and leave a comment below! Your next stop is Barb Picinich!
