Hello there! This blog post is about something wonderful I discovered in the last few months, yoga! I’ve added the practice of Vinyasa yoga to my workout repertoire and it’s been leaving me feeling strong, at peace in my heart, and accomplished. The Kelly Purkey “Megababe” stamps were perfect for this layout I had in mind. You can check them out here.
The striped and journaling cards are from the April Kit, “Good Morning.” The journaling card was actually a filler card, but I covered the bottom half with a block of text I printed out. The center line on the card was the perfect divider and a great way to sneak in some journaling.
My favorite card (sun, moon, and stars) resulted from a mishmash of several of Kelly’s new sets. I used the moon from the Megababe set as the “o” letters, the star stamp from the “Tiny Victories” mini kit, and the “Dalton” alpha set.
The card with all the eyes on it is admittedly, a little freaky, but it reminded me of the term “3rd eye” as you yogis would recognize. The “Good Vibes Only” stamp is so reminiscent of practices–no comparison, no judgment, just good vibes.
The quotation card I made by printing out one of my favorite sayings and stamping the sleeping eyes in the middle. It’s a great way to create filler cards–a simple quote with a stamped image.
