Hello!  I’m here today highlighting some details of a “right here and now” layout I made using Kelly Purkey’s new stamp and card sets you can pick up HERE!  This layout below is almost entirely made using the Playlist kit.  I love how this turned into a layout about what I’m doing now rather than a documented event like a concert.  God knows I have enough concert pictures to scrap!  But it isn’t often I take an entire spread out of my album to showcase a snippet of life.Photo Mar 15, 5 22 58 AM

All my photos were taken off the internet –album covers, professional pics, and logos.  I used Kelly’s white alpha stickers to spell out the word “MOVE” on the shot of Coldplay (bottom left in full layout). The “Listening” card below was a screenshot of a frame from a music video I’ve been playing over and over.  I stamped the music notes in white ink directly on the photo and embossed with clear powder.  My first try at this was not so successful.  Maybe because of the photo paper the Selphy printer uses?  I let it dry overnight and it still ended up smearing in the pocket.  The embossing powder worked though!  Be careful not to melt your photo when hitting it with a heat gun.

The “xo” circle is from the Kara Haupt stamp set — a couple tiny staples and this stamp made the perfect little adder to my photo of Sam Hunt.  Melt.

I loved the design of the first card below as is.  Do you ever have those PL cards where you just want to hoard it and maybe even frame it up on a wall?  I stamped the “No.” stamp from Kelly’s “One and Only” set a couple times and the # sign from a much older KP alpha set.  “Playlist” and “Listen Up” are from her Playlist kit along with the “Listening”and music notes.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!  If you’re as big of a music and concert junkie as I am, you NEED this kit!  It’s timeless!
