I was so loving how the elements came together on this layout. The black and white…pop of yellow to bring out some color in the food pic…the gold triangles?? I can’t believe this all came together in pretty much under an hour. Yes, I am a speed scrapper!! And don’t even start if we’re at a crop because it’s game on. Challenge ALWAYS accepted.
I used project life printable cards from Peppermint Granberg over at The Lily Pad as well as Big City Quiet. There’s something so satisfying about printables. I mean, it’s instantaneous gratification–you pay and boom, your product is ready to use. When you think about what you’d spend on an embellishment, $4-7, it’s cheaper so essentially you’re saaaaving money (wink wink). Lastly, you’re not restricted like embellishments or purchased cards. Designs can be enlarged, shrunk, printed on vellum, different colored paper, and even the color of the designs changed to MATCH your exact photos. They just make me so happy.
Now let’s get to the details. I love stitching. It’s pretty much the perfect final touch on anything. Check out those gold glitter triangles by Color Cast Designs. Do they not match perfectly with the triangle from Big City Quiet? And sorry, but don’t get too attached to the awesome Hello stamp by Kellie Stamps. It was a freebie. But definitely head over to her shop because there are SO many more incredible stamps available. The HELLO DELICIOUSNESS stamp is hers 😉 coming out March 15!
One more detail pic, because I love the little bits so much.
Thanks for stopping by!!!
