Cut File Challenge

photo 1 (8)

This layout was done using the FREE cut file offered by Paper Issues.  Go download it now if you haven’t already!

First I cut the file out on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of scrap paper.  I used the negative to properly place my photos in the triangles, traced them, and carefully cut them out using a trimmer.  It took me forever to get the placement of these triangles right.  I was seriously up until 2:45 just adhering paper and pics to my page.

I knew I wanted to stamp some sayings along the lines of the triangles so pulled out my Kellie Stamps RAD set and started laying out templates.

The next morning I took a second look, got some advice from a friend 😉 (perhaps the one pictured in the layout) and of course pulled out the sewing machine.  Big Triangles! But nothing too overwhelming.  Yep, I think it’s done now.
